On this page, we explain the steps from applying for mdxII usage to logging into the user portal to access the service.
1. New Project Application (with Trial Resources)

About Trial Resources
By applying for a project, you will be able to use the following trial resources:

* Trial use is limited to one time per person.
* If technical issues prevent you from completing testing during the trial period, please contact us in advance for flexible support.

* Regarding Trial Use of GPU Nodes
Due to limited resources, if you wish to try GPU nodes, please contact us in advance via the [Contact Form].
2. Logging in to the mdxII User Portal
・If you registered with a GakuNin account, select “Gakunin User” and log in with your GakuNin credentials.
・If you registered with a local mdxII account, select “Local User” and log in using the initial password provided in the email.
If login is successful, the following screen will appear and you can start using mdxII.

Please don’t worry even if you feel uncertain about the operations or applications.

If you wish to continue using the service, please consider applying for paid resources during the trial period.
Even if you apply for paid resources during the trial, no charges will occur during the trial period.
If you choose to end after the trial use, no additional steps are required, although we may ask you to complete a survey.
4. Applying for Paid Resources
The application form is the same for both GakuNin and local accounts. If you need to add resources during use, please apply from here as well.

* Charges for the start month will be calculated on a per-day basis.
* The end date must be the last day of the month; mid-month termination is not allowed.
* If you apply for resources during the trial period (2 weeks), the requested resources will be allocated immediately upon approval, and no charges will apply during the trial.

Example: If you apply for a project on April 9 and request 2 months of additional resources on April 14: ・Approval and trial use will begin within 2–3 business days. ・You can use the resources until the end of June (April + 2 months). ・The billing process will be carried out in the month following the application month (in this case, May). |
Daily charges are calculated by dividing the monthly fee by 30 and multiplying by the number of days used.
(Example: Monthly fee ¥13,280 (16CPU Pack), usage starts on April 25 → ¥2,656 “13,280 ÷ 30 × 6 days”)
* We will round down fractional amounts at our expense. You will be billed the rounded-down total.
