■ Details Identified Regarding the Issue
It has been confirmed that the issue originates from the virtual server infrastructure “Red Hat OpenStack” and the storage system “Lustre File System” used in mdxⅡ.
Currently, the root volumes (OS area) of instances running on OpenStack are configured to store data on the Lustre File System via an NFS server.
Although the root cause is still under investigation, it has been confirmed that volume corruption does not occur in environments where SSD storage is used instead of Lustre.
Therefore, as a temporary measure, the current maintenance is implementing a change to the SSD storage configuration.
The service is scheduled to resume at 10:00 AM on Monday, June 2, and the issue is expected to be resolved thereafter.
Since the issue occurred less frequently on Rocky Linux, some users may have avoided using Ubuntu. However, with this change in configuration, Ubuntu can now also be used without problems.
* We will provide further information regarding the impact and whether user-side migration is required as soon as it is confirmed.

The following storage services are not affected by this issue:
- Object Storage
- My Data Portal, Project Data Portal
