Overview
In this workshop, participants will learn the basics and usage of “mdx II”, a virtual server-based computing platform based on OpenStack, operated by the Collaborative Organization for the Data-Driven Social Creation Platform and hosted by the University of Osaka. Participants who wish to try the system will be provided with a free “trial account for the workshop” valid for about one week. *Please note that using the workshop account will not affect your eligibility for the one-time trial available to new users. This workshop is highly recommended for those considering using the mdx II system for server building or research. Participation is open to everyone, including faculty and students of universities and technical colleges, as well as corporate employees. Please feel free to join us!

- Those lacking space or budget to install servers in their labs
