As previously announced on the above webpage and other notices, the root volumes (OS installation areas) of instances running on OpenStack have been temporarily migrated from the conventional Lustre storage to SSD storage.

With this maintenance, the storage configuration will be reverted from the SSD storage configuration back to the original Lustre storage configuration.
This change will not result in any unavailable or restricted features, and you may continue to use mdx II services as usual.

■ Suspension of Virtual Machines

Please ensure that all virtual machines on the mdx II system are stopped before the maintenance begins.

Any virtual machines still running at the start of the maintenance will be shut down by the university.
Please note that if a shutdown does not complete within a reasonable period of time, a forced shutdown may be performed.
