This is to inform you that the Joint Usage/Research Center for Interdisciplinary Large-scale Information Infrastructures (JHPCN) has launched the Call for Joint Research Proposals for FY 2026.
This call invites a wide range of interdisciplinary research proposals in the three core fields of computational science, data science, and computer science, as well as studies that integrate these fields or collaborate with applied research domains.
The application deadline is January 6, 2026, at 10:00 AM (Japan Standard Time).

■ Notes for Existing mdxⅡ Users
The computational resources provided by JHPCN consist only of CPU resources, which are offered through the interoperability nodes (VMware environment).
Please note that this environment is different from the mdxⅡ CPU nodes (OpenStack).
Therefore, the environment you currently use on mdxⅡ cannot be directly transferred, and you will need to set up a new environment on JHPCN.
In addition, the user portal is not available on the interoperability nodes (VMware environment), so users cannot perform operations such as starting or stopping instances or modifying their resource configurations.
