Announcement of Resumption of mdx II System Operation and Commencement of GPU Node Services

Notice of Resumption of mdx II System Operation

We are pleased to inform you that the maintenance work related to the volume corruption issue has been completed,
and the system has officially resumed operation in a temporary configuration.

As previously announced, the root volumes (OS installation areas) of instances running on OpenStack
have been temporarily switched from the conventional Lustre storage to SSD storage.
We have confirmed that this configuration change has prevented any recurrence of volume corruption.

Please note that this change in configuration does not affect any functionality or impose any restrictions.
You can continue to use the mdxII services as usual with confidence.

* Once the root cause has been fully identified and a permanent fix implemented, we plan to revert to the original storage configuration without requiring any action from users.

■ Previous Configuration (Before the Change)

OpenStack instance storage: Connected to Lustre storage via NFS server

■ Temporary Configuration (After the Change)

OpenStack instance storage: Connected to an NFS server equipped with 50TB of SSD storage
