We had previously announced that the maintenance was scheduled to be completed by 17:00 on March 5, 2025 (Wed). However, the work is taking longer than expected, and we will be extending the service downtime until around 20:00.

mdxⅡ system has encountered an unexpected issue during snapshot creation.
Upon investigation, it was determined that the issue was caused by a bug in OpenStack.

Due to the application of the fix in the mdxⅡ system, system maintenance will be carried out during the following period.
 

As a result, all services of the mdxⅡ system will be temporarily suspended.

Regarding virtual machines on the mdxⅡ system, they must remain stopped during the suspension period.
Please ensure that your virtual machines are stopped before the start of maintenance (by 9:00 AM on March 5, 2025).
*If any virtual machines remain running during the maintenance work, we will proceed with shutting them down on our end.
However, if the shutdown process takes too long, we may forcibly stop them.
 

During the suspension period, the mdxⅡ system’s user portal, computing resources, and related services will be unavailable.
 

With this update, operations related to snapshots of ‘instances’ can now be performed correctly. However, the issue that occurs during the snapshot creation and deletion of ‘volumes’ has not yet been resolved.
As a result, actions related to ‘volume’ snapshots are currently hidden from the menu, and we continue to investigate the issue.
