Osaka University’s D3 Center will conduct system maintenance due to a planned power outage in the IT Core Building and expansion work for mdx II.
 

As a result, all services of the mdx II system will be temporarily suspended during the following period:
 

【Suspension Period: Sunday, January 12, 2025, 16:00 – Thursday, January 16, 2025, 17:00】
The mdx Ⅱ object storage service will be suspended for maintenance from 10:00 on Sunday, January 12, 2025.
 

Virtual machines on the mdx Ⅱ system must be shut down during the suspension period.
We kindly ask you to shut down any virtual machines before the maintenance starts (by 16:00 on January 12, 2025).
If virtual machines are still running at the time of maintenance, we will shut them down. In case of prolonged shutdown processing or any issues, we may forcefully stop the machines.
 

During the suspension period, the mdx II user portal, computational resources, and related services will be unavailable.
